I just had to share my latest experience with KeyShot for3D animation in XO3D. It’s absolutely mind-blowing! As a designer, I’ve dabbled with various animation software, but KeyShot has truly elevated my work to a new level.

The realism and detail I can achieve now are astounding. Its user-friendly interface allowed me to dive right into creating without a steep learning curve. What really stands out is the real-time rendering feature – it’s like watching my ideas come to life instantly!

I’m currently working on a project that seemed challenging at first, but KeyShot has made it not only manageable but also enjoyable. The lighting and material options are vast and intuitive, enabling me to experiment with different aesthetics effortlessly.

If you don’t mind, I have a couple of questions about what you like and dislike about animations in KeyShot.

  • You mention the real-time rendering feature. Are you talking about the yellow animation path that is displayed in the real-time view? Or just the regular ray-traced render?
  • Are you using keyframe animations? If not, what are the key factors that made you choose the other animation types?
  • Do you have any improvement suggestions in general for the animation systems in KeyShot?
